When to go: the hours
The peak is 1–3am. To go all-in, aim to arrive midnight–1am. That said, earlier is quieter and easy to get into, and you can catch the last train home — so pick the style that suits you. A night runs from around ¥6,000 for a low-key one with a guest pass, up to about ¥15,000 if you drink hard and cab it home.
