Inside T2 SHINJUKU.

T2 SHINJUKU opened in April 2024 and bills itself as Japan’s largest nightclub: one pillar-free floor of roughly 1,000 square metres on the top level of the Shinjuku Kaleido Building, with 7-metre ceilings, room for 1,500 people and a 40-metre three-headed dragon coiled above the island bar — all driven by a d&b audiotechnik rig and some 120 moving lights. It runs every night of the year, always all-mix: pop, EDM and hip-hop on the main floor, R&B and K-pop on the sub floor, and a weekend-only Diamond Floor that digs into house and techno.

A pillar-free floor with 1,500 people dancing — Shinjuku’s megaclub, all-mix every single night.

The crowd is early-twenties, split about evenly between men and women, and one of the most international in the city — on a good night you’ll hear as much Korean and English as Japanese. Entry is open from 18, cards, e-money and QR payments all work, there are 100-plus lockers, and the sweet spot is arriving before 11 pm, just before the floor fills.
