CROSS ROPPONGI opened in December 2024 steps from Roppongi crossing, on the 3rd floor of the Rokumon Building. The name is the whole idea — a crossroads, a place where youth and choices intersect — and the roughly 400㎡ room is built to feel like one: a red-toned space crowned by a canopy of hanging light bulbs, streaked with red lasers and centred on a glowing monogrammed round bar.
It's really four venues in one. A DJ dance floor leads with hip-hop, opened up to world-standard house and EDM by DJs who work the global festival circuit; around it sit a live-band karaoke room, a proper bar where you can actually talk, and private glass-walled VIP rooms that look down over the floor. The whole place is wired for it — a world-class VOID Acoustics system tuned by acclaimed audio producer Katsuyuki Seto, part of a reported ¥500 million spent on sound and lighting alone.
The crowd is young, international and dressed for the night, and the door is one of the easiest in Roppongi: women free every night with two drinks, men from ¥2,000 on weekdays. VIP tables with bottle service start around ¥70,000, and the room holds about 150. Early reviews are near-perfect — a straight 5.0 across sound, service and atmosphere — and with Roppongi Station a couple of minutes away, it's about the easiest great night you can plan in the area.
