Tokyo Club Guest Pass Savings: Door vs Pass Prices

The short version

“So how much does a guest pass actually save you?” Plenty of guides hide their prices — but because we issue the passes ourselves, we can show you the real numbers. This report is first-party data lining up door prices against pass prices at our 5 partner clubs. Bottom line: a pass is never more expensive than the door, and in most cases it’s meaningfully cheaper. How much cheaper, though, varies a lot by venue. We’ll lay it all out, honestly.

Door vs pass: the real numbers

Door and pass prices for men, plus a guide for women, at our 5 partner clubs (as of 2026, representative rates).

ClubDoor (men)Pass (men)DifferenceWomen
THE PINK TOKYO¥2,000–3,500¥1,000−¥1,000–2,500¥500
T2 SHINJUKU¥3,900¥2,500−¥1,400¥1,000+
CROSS ROPPONGI¥2,000–3,000Same price + guaranteed entryGuaranteed listFree nightly (2 drinks)
TIDE TOKYO¥1,000–2,000Same price + 1 extra drink+1 free drink¥1,000
CLUB VIZEL¥2,500–3,500Same price + guaranteed entryGuaranteed list¥1,000

Note: prices vary by day of the week and by event. The exact latest amount is on each club's detail page. The table above is a guide to representative rates.

Every price includes at least one drink as standard. And the key point: at no venue does the pass exceed the door price. Either it’s cheaper, or it’s the same price with guaranteed entry or a drink thrown in.

Where the discounts are biggest

If your goal is simply the cheapest entry possible, these two are the clearest wins.

−¥2,500PINK weekend, men (max)
−¥1,400T2 men (door ¥3,900 → ¥2,500)
¥500PINK entry for women

At THE PINK TOKYO, the weekend men’s door is ¥3,500 but the pass is ¥1,000 — that gap is several drinks right there. T2 SHINJUKU drops men from ¥3,900 to ¥2,500, a −¥1,400 saving. What you save covers another round.

Men's vs women's pricing

In Tokyo nightlife, women’s entry is already affordable (free to ¥1,000) at most venues. That’s why the pass “discount” shows up bigger for men. For women, the pass is best used to lock in “guaranteed entry at an affordable price.”

Best for men

  • A **big discount** off the door price (PINK/T2)
  • Put what you save toward drinks

Best for women

  • Many venues are already **free to ¥500**
  • Lock in **guaranteed entry** ahead of time with the pass

CROSS ROPPONGI is free for women every night (with 2 drinks). For the full picture on free and dirt-cheap entry for women, see our ladies’ free entry guide.

Value beyond the price

A pass isn’t just a “discount coupon.” Even at same-price venues, you get value like this.

  1. Guaranteed entry. Being on the list ahead of time means you get in even when it's full. The busier the weekend, the more it matters.
  2. Extra drinks. Some venues are effectively better value — TIDE TOKYO, for one, adds an extra drink at the same price.
  3. Transparent pricing. You know exactly what you'll pay at the door — zero risk of getting ripped off. For the safety side, see our [nightlife safety report](/journal/tokyo-nightlife-safety-report).
  4. No sign-up, instant QR. Grab it on your phone and just show it at the door.

FAQ

Is a guest pass really worth it

Yes. It never costs more than the door price. Some venues, like PINK and T2, give a big discount; others match the door price but throw in guaranteed entry or an extra drink. It’s designed so you can’t lose.

Is it worth it for women too

Yes. Women already pay less, so the discount is modest, but the strength is that you lock in guaranteed entry ahead of time. The busier the night, the more it helps. CROSS is free every night.

How do I get one

Just pick a club on the application page. No sign-up — a QR pops up on the spot. Show it on your phone at the door and you’re done.

Make it a night you won't overpay for

A pass “never exceeds the door price, is usually cheaper, and even at the same price adds guaranteed entry plus a drink.” There’s no reason not to use it. Get a free QR here.
