T2 SHINJUKU opened in April 2024 and bills itself as Japan’s largest nightclub: one pillar-free floor of roughly 1,000 square metres on the top level of the Shinjuku Kaleido Building, with 7-metre ceilings, room for 1,500 people and a 40-metre three-headed dragon coiled above the island bar — all driven by a d&b audiotechnik rig and some 120 moving lights. It runs every night of the year, always all-mix: pop, EDM and hip-hop on the main floor, R&B and K-pop on the sub floor, and a weekend-only Diamond Floor that digs into house and techno.
The crowd is early-twenties, split about evenly between men and women, and one of the most international in the city — on a good night you’ll hear as much Korean and English as Japanese. Entry is 18+ (high-school students are not admitted), cards, e-money and QR payments all work, there are 100-plus lockers, and the sweet spot is arriving before 11 pm, just before the floor fills.
Smart casual. A clean top and decent shoes are all you need; skip sportswear and flip-flops.

Across the week, men pay ¥1,000–¥3,900 at the door and women ¥500–¥1,000, depending on the night and time. With the free guest pass, men pay ¥1,000–¥2,900 and women ¥500.
